JOSEMI JOINS LIVERPOOL

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has confirmed the club have completed the signing of versatile defender Josemi in a £2million move from Malaga. Speaking after his side's 5-1 demolition of Celtic in the Rentschler Field Stadium, the Spaniard revealed he had raided his homeland for the 24-year-old. "Josemi has signed," said Benitez. "I know this player and he is good in defence, good in the air and can make this team stronger." Benitez hinted that could be his last signing of the summer so he can concentrate on working with his players for the start of the new campaign. "For me it is important that we have good players and it does not matter what nationality they are," continued the summer arrival from Valencia. "Perhaps I know the Spanish market better than others but we have good scouts all around the world so if good players become available then we will sign them. "We needed forwards and a central defender so now I am not nervous. I want to work with the team and I will talk with scouts and staff and decide."

[ Ni satu lagi berita yg agak baik la.. first signing for Benitez after being a manager at Liverpool... banyak lagi spekulasi pasal new signing.. selain pemain Valencia (Aimar, Ayala, Vicente, Baraja), ade gaks rumours pasal Joaquin (Betis), Miguel (Malaga), Xabi Alonso ( tak ingat kelab mana)... aku harap Benitez dapat manage sebaik yg mungkin.... tak kira la dia nak beli sape pun.... tp kalau dapat Joaquin tu ok gaks.......sebab dpt cover Diouf yg mmg takde peluang nak main kat Liverpool dah.. so.. keep waiting in patient.....]
